I don't know why but i really don't feel like the texture is right, but i thought i'd better post it just to see what you all think about it before changing it.
I've only done the tree itself for now, currently doing the bulbs.
Edit: Also need to do the hole.
yeah the texture is a little odd, i would go for more of a traditional tree look, possibly with organic fungus type textures to give it more of a fleshy look? or i would go a deep wood texture and paint little glowy spots on it occasionally?
