Brain Coral and Inferactus

I edited the 8-point Cacti into a cactus that has a burning liquid in the inside of it. It can be just an object but I have the story of it that if one were to step on it it shoots out a liquid from the thorns and into the victims flesh leaving a burning feeling in the wound, it's now called the Inferactus. The Brain coral i just added a couple of circular veins around it.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Brain Coral (Light Source)

A start on the brain coral; a light source object. Brain texture I made from scratch and laid it on the model to see what it looked like so far.

Masks

Sorry it isn't much, trying to get back into the Eclipse Mojo, now that Tafe is finally over.

I wasn't too sure what to draw but i remember talking about masks, each mask has a different mood to it, just idea's at the moment.

Kuru

So i have done some work on the Kuru landscape lately, it was looking a bit bare so i have just been livening it up, also reinforcing the pale white-green-pale brown colour scheme i had in mind, wasnt really coming through enough i think.
so yeah!

ignore the occasional sharp shadows, they don't appear in game ;)

As you can see, Kuru now has Bamboo like plants, they are stained by salt at the bottom, but the Ether sprites were still able to call them from the ground and sustain them, these mainly exist closer to the Ether sprite village, the Ether sprites attempted to male them everywhere but they just couldn't reach some places.

Kuru's Keeper Tree, an ancient gnarled tree on the main island, the Ether sprites take it's roots to prevent their island from breaking, and it's leaves to stop the tree from growing so fast, they use these both to build and decorate their village, while sustaining the tree it'self with their Ether, encircling the tree and singing it back to complete existence

(the "teeth" are carved stones stuck into the edges of the hole) - they are also decorated with basic glyphs.

The great tree also serves other purposes, in it's age it harbours great wisdom and insight, it is called apon in times of need and tell's the ether sprites what to do.
Although the Ether Sprite King is the only one who is allowed to talk to it..

in the campaign, the Ether Sprite King asks the great tree if the player can have his oracle hat, but apparently the tree says no (according to the Ether Sprite King)

Here is Gaan's prison cell, he is certainly not nice! (according to the Ether Sprite King)

Sol Creature Concepts

Ok! and here are the missing Sol Creatures now following the lune ones,
there still is two more lune concepts missing but i think i may take a break from concepting and finnish the Naramer level instead.

hope you enjoy :)
-(all names are temp names)

This is the Sun Llama (obviously it doesn't resemble a Llama that much, but that's kinda the idea of the game. It holds a Corona Lens in a mounting on it's back, these (and also gold) were a gift from Sol to his followers on the creation of the Temple of Day, just as Lune gifted her stone guns to her followers.

These Corona Lenses can be used in many ways and are quite frequent throughout out the game (see H'Rika) but they are mainly used to store the sun's light, the Sun Llama uses it to fire magnified solar beams the deal burn damage on inpact

Harvester Bird
Harvester Birds are native to Ilamenta Jungle, they are a terrifying creature and widely feared throughout the Eclipse world, they are approximately 5-6 foot tall with blood red rectangular feathers covering their huge wings, they have a heavily reinforced serrated beak with a large point at the tip.
These are used to forcefuly puncture a victim's rib cage in order to harvest the organs (which are the most nutrient rich part)

this drawing is also where i decided i was spending too long on concepts so you'll have to deal with a rough sketch :P

This is Sol's Final Creature, the Goliath, it is a huge beast measuring around 8 - 10 feet tall, the rupture in it's back pours out fire, it carries a large crude sword, that burns from being integrated with a Corona Lens.
the Goliath has the passive ability to slam it's heavy sword into the ground causing a ground breaking fire nova that deals damage top enemies near by.

the Goliath also bears the sacred mark of Sol and is revered among Sol's kingdom

And also, i'm planning to adorn it more, alot more, maybe some rough gold armour or bones or pelts or something, i'd like your input ^^

Lune Creatures. my hands hurt

So after writing the list of creatures for ingame, i noticed most of my proposed creatures were just ideas rather than concepts.
So I decided to rush a whole load of concepts really quickly (today) and this is what i have come up with:

-All names are only Temp names-

Stone Beetle, taking the Lune tradition of a stone carapace to an extreme with it's heavy armour shell, this creature fires a pale beam of cold that slows the enemy and does small damage
the face is meant to resemble a traffic light slightly to fit in with the city feel

Pale Hound, walks on all fours usually but can rear up for a small duration, i guess you could consider it a Lune equivilent of the Ji-Gumo.

Originating from Alluvion, the Pale Hound species are agile hunters, they can run at very fast speeds and use their relatively small wings to lift off for short times in order to leap or to jump after a flying target
the Adult Pale Hound is obiously much better at this, with it's fully developed wings

Adult Pale Hound

Stalk Gunner
an Ancient Nightmind, it has been through many years of conflict and has become partially ethereal, using parts of it's shadow to replace it's missing pieces

it is lumbering and slow moving but deals huge damage in melee combat, by swinging it's huge stone rifle, it also will from time to time fire large explosive volleys towards tagets

so it's our first melee and ranged unit that randomly decides which one to do on the fly

more soon!
