Salt Village Progress :D

The Ether Sprite salt village in the second level, (moving left to right) there is a jetty or walkway, the Ether Sprite King's hut complete with stage for adressing the village, a stone grinder for processing grain and spices or salt, a normal hut, and last is a holding cell - this is Gaan's prison, held from teleporting by the disturbance of the Ether Pillar above his head.

Gaan WIP ^^
looking nice so far! built his crazy skeleton structure and its definitely nearing completion

Creature Concepts

Two creatures that I came up with. They are still being worked on and I will give them names soon.

Environment Objects (Vase)

Made a variety of different sizes and colours so that we didn't just have one and used that one for the whole game.

Sarohnia Construct

Most likely Sarohnia's most powerful defense against the marauding oracles, the Construct is an artificially animated structure of stone, shell and a small amount of metal. fueled by a tiny spinning ether core, the Sarohnia Construct defends Sarohnia and the Shell Tower by firing bolts of raw mana, or merely crushing them underfoot.

basically its a stone structure made by Gambaro, the Neutral Oracle that walks around on its four legs, its "head" is a empty shell of a large Shellback, green metal bands are armour and they display constellations
the design frequently shows the downward spiral symbol (the glyph for ether)

2D & 3D Work

SO!
here are a few of the things i have been working on lately, many many more underway ;)

here is Gaan, the Player's familiar during the campaign, he helps out from level to level and in the beginning teaching you various things (will be explained in the story) Gaan is found in a holding cell in an an ether sprite village, after the player helps him to escape, he helps the player with their mission and then teaches them the "home portal" spell and they both escape to swamp temple.

Gaan has the Teleportation symbol carved into his head, this (and hundreds of years of practice) allows him to teleport instantly to any location, so during the campaign, Gaan will apparate into existence near the player and discuss the situation at various points, also giving quests and occasionally helping out.

Gaan is a bipedal mainly blue creature with odd shaped eyes, he does bare the teleport glyph on his head,

one of my ideas is adorning him with trophies and materials from his travels, like how the left design he has a decorative rope tied to his ears, this is actually a typical design from Soltera, the Sol capital (he can go wherever he wishes and steal things) i was thinking i might make him allot more adorned

High Oracle Gurajo
overseer of Sol's Bloodmist Island Temple

Only playable from multilayer, not single player.
he is a Sub Boss for the Lune campaign
(he does have arms, they are just little and under his sleeves)

Model Work

My Goat-Like Creature taking form, finished the head and basic body, now to add some further detail

Creature update.

Updated version of my previous creature. I've based it more off an Eel this time as I like the idea of it could possibly swim. I've given it a couple of patterns around it's body since it looked a little too plain.
I changed the jaw around so now it's inside the shell and when it eats something it will either use its tongue or hands to insert it into the mouth and just swallow it whole, it can also bite with it's upper jaw by slamming it's head into the victim, while the shell protects it's head from any danger that might strike from above. I made the arms all bone much like an armor sort of thing, it has arms which sits inside the bone, along with two fingers on each hand. Now to explain the bone shell around it, I customized it around from my original concept of the head and thought I'd make it protection of the creature. So inside all the bone is a squiggly snake eel thing 8D.
