Creature Concept

Quick creature that I came up with, I rushed to draw it since I'd thought about it for a moment and didn't want to forget it. I will think of a name for it and it's history as soon as I think of one lol. I got reference from a wolf and a cobra to keep it in my head of what it was. I did have reference to a Minotaur for the upper body but kind of stuck it to the arms and changed the body to more of a snake.

  1. a good start! :D
it would need a but more detail, the design is also a little too earthly, like the humanoid snake with wolf head is Definitely new but you would have to come up with something unique to add to make it entropic enough for the game's style.
try taking a little more time on your designs, take it easy and make sure to keep it outworld-ish
although i understand this is a rush job so obviously there is some leeway :P
but Definitely a good start, i am seeing things looking at this :)

were you thinking as a creature, oracle or character? or whatever? just curious :)

  2. I should have probably said I will add a lot more detail to it as I progress, in my post lol, my bad. But yeah I will work on it and change it around to suit the game's style. Could you suggest on any stuff to make it look suitable/kickass?

As for the last thing I was thinking of making it a creature. Could be a kind of creature that sneaks up from behind but you can hear it's hissing and slithering 8D

  3. it'd have to be a neutral creature-native in my opinion

Definitely thinking Naramer, the island is an ocean graveyard set in a brilliant sunset that creates very long, dark shadows, there is under lit faint blue glows from a kind of luminescent coral.

alot of sea monster-type looking remains
-look it up from the older version ;)

i could see aot of hiding and emerging from the waters, coral and remains.
i think he would go great as a Naramer Native.
so far Naramer is inhabited by Bone Crabs and other crustaceans

i'd go with arching him over alot, making him thinner and more gaunt, going with the bone idea he could have large jutting scales made of bone going the length of his back, possibly along with the gaunt look he would have thin arms, transitioning his arms into long, spiny fins resembling long bony fingers would work :?

possibly a spined crest? barnacles, a bone spear?
keep it sea - bone-yard themed i would say..

just a suggestion, also feel free to go in another direction :D
